Kaminaki nestles at the foot of Mt Pantokratoras, the cypress and olive tree clad slopes of which slide into the coastal waters of Corfu Island’s north east coast. Kaminaki is a beach side hamlet comprised of a few dozen dwellings some of which like the water front Bizou and Yellow Villas are over a century old.
The pebble beach looks out across the blue-green waters of the Ionian Sea to the Greek mainland and Corfu Town in the distance and the south beyond. The sea is exceptionally clean and the atmosphere warm and friendly.
Kaminaki is accessible by car down a steep road leading off from the main coast road. Private parking is available for all our properties.
Kaminaki is loved for its easy access by boat and is often visited in this way for a lunch and a swim. There are two tavernas overlooking Kaminaki beach and another only a short walk away along the beach path at Krouzeri Beach.
Whilst staying in any of our Kaminaki Villas hiring a small boat will get you anywhere you wish along the north east coast as well as being the perfect way to discover the many coves and inlets this part of Corfu Island is known for.
The North East Coast of Corfu Island is famous for its graphic beauty created by the ever green slopes of Mount Pandokratoras sliding steeply into the blue green waters of the Ionian Sea.
Dozens of small coves and inlets are sprinkled all along the coast from Barbati Beach in the south to the historical town of Kassiopi in the north.
Shiny white pebbles decorate most beaches on the north east coast with crystal clear waters offering endless hours of swimming delight. Beach front tavernas like on Agni Beach being the most visited for its three well known restaurants or Avlaki Beach further north are a haven for endless hours of culinary sea gazing pleasure.
Many private luxury villas are nestled among the olive groves such as the likes of the Rothschild Estate on Kerassia Beach headland and the famous White House inhabited by Gerald Durrell, author of My Family and other Animals, as a young child in Kalami. Yellow House and Bijou are Kaminaki Villas that have been a landmark for photographers and artists for nearly a century.
A fairytale like footpath outlines nearly the entire north east coast from Nissaki to St Stephanos, two of the most photographed fishing villages in the area. Walking this well-known footpath is great fun but it’s the freedom of discovering one’s very own private cove and witnessing the beauty of this Mediterranean coast line by sea that is the real attraction in this part of Corfu Island. Boat Hire from Kaminaki Beach is easy. In fact hiring a boat will come in more handy than hiring a car.

Kaminaki has two tavernas but no convenience shops or supermarkets.
The local supermarket (approximately 3km from kaminaki) is the closest option.
It offers free pick up and return to your villa to do your shopping and accepts online shopping orders with free delivery to your villa between 09:00 am and 10:30 am
